Wow, what a day, huh? Christmas is always an exciting day and a special time of the year. It is a time when people share gifts, share time, and share experiences that can help or change the course of someone’s life. It is a time of celebration for some depending on your religion or faith for the birth a child who would be the savior of the world. The emotions that come with Christmas are so powerful that children across that national wait with anticipation of what that day may bring. Parades are organized, lights are hung, decorations are placed strategically, and of course, food is prepared with yummy seasoning that bring smiles to all that participate. Those delicious yams and stuffing with that turkey smothered in gravy or perhaps the tamales in various flavors such as chicken, beef, and pork. How about that roast chicken, gingerbread, eggnog, fruitcake, pumpkin pie, shortbread, trifle, and rice pudding that may have been served to make your taste buds dance. For some people they may have had bacon wrapped pork loin, tri tip, roasted duck, roasted goose, curry goat, ham, glazed ham, menudo, and ensalada de noche buena. All these food are so appealing and available to enjoy during the holidays. Then there are more sweet items that where on the table such as tiramisu, rum cake, tembleque, apple cider, apple pie, sweet potato pie, hazelnut mousse cakes, red velvet cake, and German chocolate cake. It is amazing how many goodies are out there that make the holidays so tastefully delicious.
