HOMERUN

Swing batter batter swing! Are you knocking it out of the park? To all our baseball players out there, when was the last home run you hit? How did it feel to connect with the ball and send it out to homerun land? Once you hit that home run, did you sprint around the bases or did you just lightly jog to enjoy the moment and the feeling of that successful hit? Whichever way you completed the bases, the fact is on that given pitch you were focused and confident that you would hit the ball just right and send it to homerun land. So, what do you do when you strike out, which is the opposite of the homerun? Do you get down on yourself or do you rally? Do you let the negative thoughts and pressure come into your mind while you are at bat? Do you get frustrated or rattled? Do you turn up your level of belief and confidence in yourself so that you get the hit you need? All of these thoughts can occur when you are at bat and can be overwhelming when you let them get to you.

At Git Right Sports Performance and Fitness, we want your swings to be confident and effective to rocket that ball out of the park or to get it into a gap where the opposing team cannot get to the ball. Your baseball coach will teach you baseball while we will train you to be powerful and explosive using your body in the best manner to rocket that ball. We look at ground reaction forces and energy transfer from your lower body through your core to your upper body that delivers the velocity of your swing. We have the exercises that will engage your core and strengthen your hips, thighs, glutes, and calves to channel your energy from the ground up. We want you to have full control of your body position at all times, especially when you are at bat. Have you seen how some batters step to the plate and get into the same position every time? They have been trained to get into that position because they are the most powerful in those particular angles.

So what’s your desire? Do you want to knock it out of the park? What is your motivation to step to the plate and get into position with every one watching you? Why do you stare down that pitcher and allow that person to throw a ball at you at 100 + mph? Since you made the decision to step to the plate, make sure you are confident and physically able to crush that ball. Sign up for your fitness assessment and let us help you elevate your game!
