Booty, booty, booty over here, over there, everywhere! It seems that more and more attention is being placed on this part of the body. Well having a great booty is not a bad thing, but what about the rest of your fitness package. Do you really want to have a great booty but terrible muscle tone on the rest of your body? Let’s look at the overall fitness components such as strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and balance. How about making sure you cover all the bases along with having a great derrière. Thanks to Jlo, Kim, Nicki, and Iggy among other celebrities, the booty has taken attention again so ladies make sure your are doing everything to tighten and firm up that area. Guys, gentlemen, you are not safe from the attention so make sure you are spending some time bun shaping too. Guys, are flat butts in style?

Let’s take a look at a sample workout that can be done to tighten up that area.
After an adequate warm up session of approximately 5 to 7 minutes you can then transition to performing this exercise regimen.
3 sets of 7 repetitions of Explosive Vertical Jumps
3 sets of 14 repetitions of Squat (we have a great video teaching our Sandbell Squat)
3 sets of 14 repetitions of Reverse Lunges (each leg)
3 sets of 14 repetitions of Romanian Deadlifts (RDLS)
In this sample workout, you will rest 30 secs between each set. This workout will target your entire lower body (lower back, thighs, glutes, calves) not just your booty. This is just a sample leg workout that challenges you and targets specific muscles. It is not a full workout because there is a warm up and cool down with flexibility section that is very structured to flow along with this lower body workout. So there you have it, a challenging section of our workout that will bring you results. It is not very long and time consuming so there would be no excuses for not having time. If you are going to get that butt lifted, shaped, and toned you have got to stop sitting on it and get moving. You have to be willing to work hard to look great in that new pair of skinny jeans, shorts, slacks, leggings, or form fitting dress.
